This release has been cooking in the oven for quite a while and it's finally ready. It comes with many goodies (please have a look at the ChangeLog[1] for a complete list), but among those I am happy to highlight: โข ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ญ๐ข-๐ฌ๐จ๐๐ค๐๐ญ ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฉ๐ฉ๐จ๐ซ๐ญ: a single process can bind to multiple addresses, ports and protocols, eliminating the need for separate instances. One process to rule them all! โข ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐ฉ๐๐ญ๐ข๐๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐ฐ๐ข๐ญ๐ก ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐ง๐๐ฐ '๐จ๐ฏ๐ฉ๐ง' ๐ค๐๐ซ๐ง๐๐ฅ ๐ฆ๐จ๐๐ฎ๐ฅ๐: it was already merged in Linux v6.16, but with OpenVPN v2.7.0 it gets finally turned on. No need to change anything, just make sure the 'ovpn' #kernel module is installed in your system (note: it is part of Linuxโฏv6.16 and later; on older kernels youโll need to compile it yourself or use the package provided by your distribution). This major #release got quite some testing from various parties, including external auditors. Therefore we're quite confident in its quality and we are a looking forward to seeing people jumping onto it. Wanna learn more about any of these features? Feel free to reach out! And also...please report bugs or feature requests on the OpenVPN GitHub tracker[2]. [1] https://lnkd.in/dY6_mhJn [2] https://lnkd.in/dgxhVdWS
