      (a) This linked post is carnival barking and is divorced from reality. AI is having no such effect on any industry according to numerous reports including https://www.nber.org/papers/w34836 ; research on productivity impacts of AI, including a recent one from Anthropic, strongly suggest it has zero-to-negative effect. People who stand to gain from AI frequently deploy this alarmist narrative
      (b) Capitalists may stop viewing us as a source of labor someday but they will never stop viewing us as resources to be slurped up into the profit-making meat grinder
