@ErickaSimone it's gotta be the T-Rex. Always was. So intimidating, while still having these two little useless arms. I've stood next to a T-Rex skull and it's terrifying to think that this gigantic chicken could and would swallow me whole.

@irgndsondepp @ErickaSimone I saw a cast of an allosaurus skull in Utah and thought the same. And that's not nearly as big as a T Rex. My mind can't help but think of how quick I'd be chomped up.

@fylgja totally. Just last weekend I saw a complete upright Allosaurus skeleton at a museum in Basel and that is terrifying enough.

Tyrannosaurus. But the best reconstruction I ever saw was when an artist did an illustration of a feathered tyrannosaurus that looked like an eight ton sparrow. A round floofy birb.

@ErickaSimone brontosaurus for the role one of them played in one of my favourite comics growing up. It was kept as a pet in a cave under Monaco. Locked up with a bronze key which the heros had to keep from getting in the wrong hands.
The brontosaurus did break free, but turned out to be a goofy friend, as did the fish in the picture.

it's not on that list, but for a good reason. see, it was called brontosaurus when we were very young, and we initially built some attachment to that name

but then it was discovered that the original person to name it had been sloppy about claiming it was a separate species when it wasn't, so it turned out brontosaurus had never existed

we re-attached our feelings appropriately ...

please forgive the lack of detail in this explanation, we were overly reliant on popular-science press outlets in childhood, we hadn't learned to acquire research papers yet

@ErickaSimone anyway we didn't feel like adjusting our feelings a second time - renaming plushies doesn't feel good, even in the name of scientific accuracy. so our favorite is still apatasaurus

it would be another 30 years after that before we figured out we were autistic, somehow
