      @heliomass hell yeah! I love analogue tvs because they can do special effects you can't do on modern displays. I've messed with NTSC color artifacts on an 8088 before, impossible without a real analogue CRT. I've also messed with APAC on an Atari 8bit to display 256 colors at once. And I got the Megadrive to do for-real blast processing and output 512 real colors and 4096 simulated colors using NTSC color blur.

          @heliomass It's sort of like Neon lights compared to LED lights in tubes, the neon lights glow in a way that's just impossible to imitate. I feel the exact same way about the glow of a CRT. Even with crazy advanced shaders, a real CRT just looks unlike any other display. I hoard them now, I have a bunch in storage so I have spares as they slowly die.
