    Do not travel to the USofA, part XXXIV:

    - doing everything right is not enough
    - white skin does not protect you
    - detention may mean a cell shared with 70 people, fighting over food, without medical supplies
    - your signature will get forged if you refuse
    - judge orders for release on bail are ignored

    @icing Hey, in the nineteenth century, there were a number of Racy Theorists in North America who argued that the Irish weren't truly hwite, sometimes on the basis of Catholicism.

      @icing They were fast to reach the level of Russia.

      Of course, they had practice, since they have been applying the same corrupt system to PoC for centuries.

        @icing@chaos.social Guess the US is back on their esoteric racism again with reclassifying the Irish as insufficiently white.

          @riley @icing Yes, people forget that the new Klan that arose in the early 20th century also hated Catholics and Jews, not just colored people. They wanted a land of white Protestants.

                  @icing This just proves that ICE doesn not follow any laws. Should be a huge wake up call for anyone who is white and thinks they won't be targeted. DHS, ICE, FBI are all corrupted by politics.

                            @Savvyhomestead @icing That's exactly right.

                            A comedian was held up at the airport and questioned about her routine and whether the routine contained jokes that are critical of the pedophile president.

                            Freedom and Privacy are dead.

                                @MugsysRapSheet Germany has no travel ban. They only have a general warning about domestic terrorism and warning that "demonstrations have sometimes led to violent clashes with immigration and security authorities."

                                The UK only repeats the general terrorism warning (probably written by the US government, as the wording is very similar to the one on the German site).

                                  "Ban" was probably the wrong word. "Warning" would be more accurate.

                                  Canada likewise does not "ban" people from visiting the U.S.. I doubt France or the UK do either.
