@MariahL @pixelate I agree that audiobooks are a legitimate form of reading. I do sometimes read things in braille if I want to really be able to slow down and absorb the material, but it really bothers me when I listen to an audible book that has been adapted in such a way that in places in the original text where it says as you read this book, the narrator says as you listen to this book.

@JamiePauls @pixelate that doesn't bother me so much. The general idea that audiobooks aren't reading is what does more than if you're "listening." Yes to braille. I have so many braille books that have been kept. A dream of mine is to have a room for them wherever I end up.

@MariahL @JamiePauls Oh my goodness. I used to have a whole intertainment center worth of Braille books when I was a kid. It’s all gone now though. Thank goodness for Braille displays.
