Just updated my iPad. It wanted me to take a photo of a credit card. I did not let it. It then told me I might not be able to access certain things. The future is fucking shit.
I've said it before and I'll say it again; these companies are gonna have to pry this information from my fucking cold & bloody corpse with a crowbar before I hand it over to them. Fuck this Technofascist bullshit.

@joeress I got an email from Google recently saying they'd switched off/on certain things in my account because they couldn't confirm that I was "an adult" (things like setting on safe search, etc.). Thing is, I've had that Google account for about 20 years now ...
Instead of going through their age verification bs routine I logged into my Google account and switched off/on the things they'd changed. Seems to have worked.
