@Bri But I bet you don't hate it for the same reasons. I don't, anyway. But yeah, that. Everything sucks.

@BorrisInABox Actually, notifications is a mutual hate on both OS's.

@BorrisInABox @Bri The issue isn't whether you hate them both. I have yet to see an OS I didn't hate. The question is "which do I hate least"? Note that I would hate being a blind person without a computer even more than I hate most platforms. Again, which situation is the least hateful?

@techsinger @Bri I don't know, being a blind person without a computer, or the need for one at all, seems pretty appealing these days. Too bad society says no.

@BorrisInABox @Bri If you like it, that's great, but think about the 1960s and 70s. If it were only for the books, I would prefer this time, with the computers, to that. The number of books which were in audio was just depressing, and the number in braille was... unspeakably bad.

@techsinger @Bri I do think about the 1960s and 70s a lot, and how I was born too late. Screw modern life. HATE!

@BorrisInABox @Bri <rotfl> A matter of taste. BTW, I don't disagree that I was born too late. I do think I was. If only I were completely able-bodied, the best time to be human would have been from, say, 1935-2010 or so.

I hate all OS notifications. Just let me use my machines and leave me alone.

@Bri @BorrisInABox Well, at least in a few years when AI's shape reality, we can just tell one to make it accessible and joyful to use and it'll ... Do something because Linux is open source so it can easily grab and change code.
