Hey fedi friends! My friend group has started a private Matrix instance and we’re wondering how emoticons and stickers work. I didn’t do the set up myself.

We’ve created a Space, and several Groups within that space. I’ve gone into the Space’s Settings, then into the Emoji Settings and uploaded some. Toggle global usage is turned on, and each is set as both an emoji and a sticker.

The issue we’re having is only I seem to be able to use them.

@dhampirdamsel You did everything right! Restart the Matrix server, then they should be available for everyone

Will it have to be restarted for every new emote? Or only this once? If you happen to know.
