@tsrono Kentaro makes great devices. has a design ethos he sticks to. his guis are interesting and friendly. it’s cool he’s packaging up multiple M4L devices into plug ins. the modulation stuff is very cool.

@ignatiusmusic i've only looked briefly at a couple, follow the releases via YT & they wow every time. but tbh it always seems like too much almost? obv one doesn't have to use them to the extents possible or in the ways shown, but that's often my takeaway from these sorts of things: wow, that's really cool, i don't want to buy it because i'll just hook it up, hit play, and that's it, track's done. feels like i'd be cheating almost? i'm exaggerating a bit, but still...

@tsrono he has several different modulation devices and some granular type FX and reverb. lot’s of things that can be used in layers or for simple modulation like any other modulator. but i think he does build things w/a system kind of mentality which is cool because the devices work well together. and now that he’s doing AU/VST there’s more places to use them. what’s wrong with cheating? 😉

@ignatiusmusic ha yeah, i'm surprised by how much can be done with all that. & it's really cool, for sure, not trying to take anything away from it. just my take on that is to recoil a bit, if there's just too much already there in a way, it's hard to imagine any space left for me to do anything else, add anything to it? if i were actually using some i'm sure i'd have a different perspective. may need to grab a couple some day to try out.
