I use @wallabag for that now. It's great. It doesn't require kicking the audio out to a podcatcher.

Instead of RSS, I'd like to see integration with #ActivityPub. Allowing us to bookmark it here and have it show up in the reader queue. And have the reader let us boost it and favorite and reply from there. And show us the most popular articles with the people we follow.

imo we need a reader ecosystem like we have a podcast ecosystem today. we need #APnative articles.

@wjmaggos I'm admittedly solving a much more narrow problem, but a reader ecosystem makes nothing but sense! Thanks for your honest feedback and insights. @wallabag wasn't on my radar, so TIL!
