@privacyguides I'm not really sure how to read this argument. We need to work together, yes. And need to be willing to form coalitions with people whom we do not agree with on everything.
But don't ask me to work with people who do not share my core values. If the disagreement is over, for instance, whether fascism is ok. Or, whether AI is acceptable to use sometimes, this is a un-bridgeable disagreement.
"Can't we all just get along?"

But don't ask me to work with people who do not share my core values. If the disagreement is over, for instance, whether fascism is ok. Or, whether AI is acceptable to use sometimes, this is a un-bridgeable disagreement.

@pip @privacyguides I’ll think about how we can clarify this a bit.
I can tell you that the main point is that we should get along with people with differences in opinion *on privacy* (or the best way to be private, etc). For one example, we often see privacy-focused companies take down their competitors in this space, instead of “punching up” (collectively) towards Big Tech.
With incompatible people for reasons unrelated to this singular core value of privacy, not so much
