@leo I agree Leo, there is a feeling of fatigue, low morale and being unsettled. I was talking to someone recently, you can't even plan your life ahead. Years ago, I would be able to plan for the future. These days, I just live one day at a time, its the best you can do.

@leo One of the depressing things about this slide from a tech perspective is that, in many ways, it feels like advances in technology are—in part—responsible for it. Hopefully we can adapt and navigate our way out of the darkness, but that time hasn't arrived yet.

@leo Seems like all the billionaires read the SF about distopias and instead of lets avoid that, they said cool lets create that future.

@leo I never would have imagined that for America’s 250th birthday, that I’d be watching a President working so hard to actively destroy our nation.
Like what did my grandfather fight for in WW2 just for this shit to happen all these years later, and for those with the power to stop him to just sit there either silent or cheering him on?

@leo Is it really a 250 year old democracy? Do you think that a group of white supremacists slave owners who committed genocide against indigenous populations really created democratic institutions? If you keep idolizing your history and not dealing with the systemic problems purposefully embedded in your systems, there is 0 chance you will understand the rise of MAGA and therefore how to effectively fight against it.

@leo
What will you do about feeling?
Feeling is a signal, only signal.
What will you do?And then do it.
