Oh, hell yeah. I saw how all that went with my friend, M, who is right at this moment on her way across the country to have the top done. She had her priorities and bottom was first. The sheer amount of prep ... the research for all of it. Then you add all the crap you have to put up with from ignoramouses. For this trip, M bought a tracking service so that another friend and I will be notified if she doesn't check in; the danger is real and that fucking sucks.

I once had a coworker try to get back up for my wrongness by calling an engineer at the vendor. Who said, "I've taken that card in the lab, and put 10v on it an 0v on it, and it works fine." This guy was a BSEE. So I just said, "You know there's no such thing as 0v, right? So did you turn power on/off, or did you ground it?" Neither one ever said, "Oh, my mistake."
But I enjoyed their pain.

@lisamelton recently saw a yt video where a gamedev explained why their RTS solo project looks so advanced, and they went through a bunch of techniques, describing them like they were original discoveries.
it felt odd and condescending until i noticed the needless contrastive statements in there and realized they had the bot write this.
so... you can't hear the em dashes but listen for the formulaic phrasings...
