Il presidente americano Donald Trump ha annunciato "cinque giorni" di interruzione degli attacchi su obbiettivi energetici in Iran, in seguito a due giorni di "conversazioni approfondite, dettagliate e costruttive" con Teheran. Questo il messaggio integrale del presidente Usa sul social Truth: "Sono lieto di annunciare che gli Stati Uniti d'America e l'Iran hanno avuto, nel corso degli ultimi due giorni, conversazioni molto produttive riguardo a una risoluzione completa e totale delle nostre ostilità in Medio Oriente. Sulla base del tenore e del tono di questi colloqui approfonditi, dettagliati e costruttivi, che continueranno nel corso della settimana, ho incaricato il Dipartimento della Guerra di posticipare qualsiasi attacco militare contro le centrali elettriche e le infrastrutture energetiche iraniane per un periodo di cinque giorni, subordinatamente al buon esito degli incontri e delle discussioni in corso. Grazie per la vostra attenzione a questa questione! Presidente Donald J. Trump".

U.S. President Donald Trump announced “five days” of suspension of attacks on energy targets in Iran, following two days of “in-depth, detailed and constructive conversations” with Tehran. This is the full message from the U.S. President on the social platform Truth: “I am pleased to announce that the United States of America and Iran have, over the past two days, had very productive conversations regarding a complete and total resolution of our hostilities in the Middle East. Based on the tenor and tone of these in-depth, detailed and constructive talks, which will continue throughout the week, I have directed the Department of Defense to postpone any military attacks against Iranian power plants and energy infrastructure for a period of five days, subject to the positive outcome of the ongoing meetings and discussions. Thank you for your attention to this matter! President Donald J. Trump.”
