    I somehow pulled a muscle in my back and can barely move. My husband is being a dear about the fetch quests.

    Food was put in Odin's bowl, but it wasn't put there BY MOMMY and he has been filibustering on his right in the social contract to receive a bowl of food FROM MOMMY

    just kind of painfully shuffling towards the bowl when I had to get up to go to the bathroom anyway seems to have done the trick

        @0xabad1dea that's a funny thing I've noticed with pets, the desire to have food is separate from the desire to *be fed*

              @kkremitzki @0xabad1dea
              💯 this.

              Luña (the special doggo who is technically a cat): [love-bombs me in “feed me”]

              Me: (eventually, when the head-butting gets frantic) Ok, sure sweetie.

              Me: Your bowl is still full of crunchies.

              Luña: I have not been fed!

              Me: Fine, I will sprinkle the treats on top.

              Luña: nomnomnom

              🤷🏻‍♀️

                @0xabad1dea I have to go over and tap my dog's bowl or he won't touch it.
