I got myself a speedweve #darning loom! I probably could have chosen an easier #mending project than a delicate cashmere blend scarf to try it out on but I’m pretty pleased with how it turned out. I still need to work on making neater edges but that’s just practice. #VisibleMending

@lia_pas Wow Lia!! You did a great job! Maybe I'll dig mine out and give it another try! I found a darning egg to be easier to use but I've mostly been mending socks.

@lia_pas That's two people who have posted about these in the last couple of days! I'd never even heard of them before! So cool!

        (the other was @mxjaygrant )

@madgeface Thanks! I have a darning mushroom that is great for socks and I can see a darning egg being easier for that. This is the 14 prong loom which would be a bit big for socks I think.

@SRLevine @mxjaygrant I’ve had my eye on these looms for years but they’ve become much easier to find now

@lia_pas haha cool! They're so neat, I'm highly tempted to turn my pj pants into patchwork pants

@mxjaygrant I have a couple pairs of pj pants that are turning into sashiko latch pants!
