Got a lot done today. I’m feeling good about it. For once, I feel like I won.

It wasn’t all good news. I got turned down by a shop in a park where I thought my work would be a perfect fit, but they passed. Maybe next month.

But I got some greeting cards printed, I got some prints framed, and I got an order on my wholesale site so a vending machine company can put my greeting cards into a local “Humboldt Made” vending machine in our regional airport.

And I got invited to participate in an impromptu show at my local member-run art gallery for the top twelve volunteers who put in the most hours in 2025.

So it wasn’t all bad. It wasn’t bad at all.

Now I’m sitting with an adult beverage, enjoying the evening.

I hate how erratic life is sometimes. The extremely high highs and the devastatingly low lows. It’s… exhausting. So I think I need to just chill for a bit.
