Acquired a 6ft long rod. Thinking about making an under door tool. Have any of you done this? Any tips? @alice #locksport

@heavymetalhero it's a simple device. ADA and fire code requirements state the handles need to be at a certain height.

Before you make the bends, check the correct height and standard width/depth of typical lever handles.

Also, try using a long retractable badge or keychain clip instead of loose string.
