Hopefully my neighbor gets his ass home from work in the next few. He’s slow as shit to deal with, but he has the best quality around!

I live in Kentucky and we’ve only been medical legal for around a year. Still no dispensaries around that I know of, but I can drive about an hour and a half to Virginia and buy it in a shop. My neighbor’s stuff is way better though.

I can also get it from another dude here who drives to Michigan to buy from a dispensary and his prices are cheaper, but his quality isn’t as good either. It’s not bad, but I’d rather pay for quality instead of quantity.

@lunchb0x_b @swampgas overcoming the racist stigma is huge for a lot of it, there's nothing wrong with it and once states see the sheer amount of tax dollars that come in from it, I mean it's just a TON of extra tax money. Pretty much all to schools here, I think.

Probably schools and road work. I know that’s how Colorado was when they went legal.

@lunchb0x_b @jake4480 @swampgas Having grown up in the peak “Just say no” years and having had to buy the majority of my weed in all varieties of *super* sketchy situations, I still have a really hard time clocking that there are five dispensaries in my <20k pop. town and they advertise with billboards.

I don’t deal with that experience, but it’s so surreal to even think about. I, too, am from the “just say no” and “D.A.R.E.” era.

@lunchb0x_b @petebrown @jake4480 i grew up in a zero tolerance state and did a brief stint for a half gram of weed when i was eighteen. Now i live in a small town with twice as many dispensaries as liquor stores. Its like living on a totally different planet; a much kinder, gentler planet

Jail time for half a gram of weed is just mind baffling to me.
It also makes me wonder about the people that are in jail for weed when these states become legal states. Do they get released and an apology hug or what?

That’s great! I don’t watch enough of The Simpsons. I’ve always liked it, but I’ve never really been a super fan, for reasons that just aren’t existent.
