@LilahTovMoon Is it weird that as a bi woman, I want to answer Aragorn, but as a lesbian I want to answer Legolas? 😅

@LilahTovMoon Intriguing that enbies are the only group picking Legolas by any significant margin.

@LilahTovMoon 34% of respondents are straight men, and Arwen doesn't even make the final round? I blame Liv Tyler.
Arwen is canonically the third most beautiful woman in history and poor Liv barely scrapes the top 10.
[Edit, see? My subconscious knows she's not even the most beautiful Liv]

@rupert There were no prior rounds. This came out of a conversation with a friend at a party and she didn't bring up anyone other than Aragorn and Legolas.

@LilahTovMoon Awful lotta “straight” men saying they’re attracted to the very male-coded Aragorn…

@Diplodocus @LilahTovMoon I'm not attracted to either, but men with no facial hair, pointy ears and eyebrows a different colour than their obvious wig are not very attractive, as attested by the fact that Legolas doesn't win a single category despite being played by a kind of sex symbol of his time.

@LilahTovMoon I knew that 😉 It was a riff on Steve Coogan's "Where are the rest of our universities? Why is it always Oxford and Cambridge in the final?" and also a pet peeve about how Arwen is given a superficially larger role in the movies but at the same time demoted from a being who everyone could see was the sole motivation for everything Aragorn does, and understand why.
