๐ฟ I adore green, leafy abandoned places.

I adore green, leafy abandoned places. The more overgrown the wild plants the more beautiful the location. What do you think?I love the idea that nature is always waiting in the wings, waiting for the opportunity to reclaim what we have taken.
A smashed window or a collapsed roof is all it takes, a small opening for plant-life to enter and take root.

@ObsidianUrbex Totally agree, and the plant growing around the horse pic is a belter

@ObsidianUrbex I think the same! It's incredible how vegetation can grow where it'd be least expected, even in mountains of trash. And these ruined buildings full of grass are my favorite. The ones I find so far aren't as big and full of curious stuff as yours, but still there's something really special in the atmosphere and it feels so great to be the only human around for a moment.

@ObsidianUrbex I agree. The resilience of nature is always beautiful. Itโs one of the reasons that I love industrial decay.

@ObsidianUrbex Let me put it this way: I'm specifically developing the skills to make that a primary theme in my drawing.

Woah, beautiful photos. The greenhouse reminds me of the movie 'The Time Machine'.

Yes, life will go on just fine without us. We are only ruining everything for ourselves right now.
Hopefully the next "dominant" organism will have more foresight than we did.
Here we come dodo bird.
