The existing osprey nest here was completely wiped out by the winter storms so they're working on rebuilding it from scratch.

Though (2nd photo), the osprey seem to have had some trouble getting started. Or they just ended up with a lot of extra pieces.

@ricardoharvin I was thinking the same thing! All those extra bolts and it's just not clear in those vague picture-only instructions if you should have actually used them somewhere or if they are just extra.

We'll see if this nest holds up or if they just have to get a new one in a couple years as this one falls apart.
