rules:
- game must have come out before 4/20, preferrably close but not too close
- game must be good for chilling and wasting tons of hours with. an entire day of playing one game
- game must have sick-ass graphics and music
- game must be hard to get annoyingly stuck in1991: shockingly easy. most of the banger games that year came out after 4/20, but there's one that perfectly fits that came out before. if you were a stoner in 1991 i absolutely believe you would play a bunch of TOEJAM AND EARLY
special shout out to STREET FIGHTER 2 in the arcade tho, also seems like a great choice for weed day, just hanging out and losing all your quarters

there's a few good choices, but my heart says it's gotta be ULTIMA UNDERWORLD, because it's the granddaddy of the legacy that would lead to im sims and bethesda rpgs, and those are some of the best weed games ever.

it's absolutely star fox. look i love kirby's adventure, and there's a ton of awesome games here to choose from. but i could still vibe out watching someone play star fox for 2 hours while high, and it's 23 years later.

i feel bad giving it to the big popular nintendo game over and over, but like. i want to play super metroid while high right now! it's unbeatable for this. it's got the music, the vibes, the art, the ability to just run around for hours and chill out. it's perfect

@kate @junebug I played dota high one time and I remember the game went really long and one of my teammates fucked me at a critical moment and I was really angry but I was spending all my stoned brain energy on playing dota and had nothing left to make a sentence with so I just went "YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU"

@junebug I called it “Lucio time” and it is a completely different game. and you can’t just do it solo it has to be in quick play
