      @MxVerda

      At STP, you know that water never freezes at the bottom of the ocean. On another planet, all bets are off.

            Ah! This video explains how the (mormon?) evangelicals on base were a huge problem for literally everyone who grew up there or interacted with that culture.

            Kayse Melon and Evie Lupine are doing the world's work, omg. Ily both, and ty.

                Some detailed comments for you nerdy lot. Or you groups of people who want to learn more but don't even know where to start.
                Yada yada: check each claim is reliable, plausible, falsifiable (verifiable), accurate, precise, whatever else. Yes, sometimes even experts make mistakes. People are people; we're all exhausted and stressed; it's really easy to not notice a typo or miscalculation.
                This is why peer review, literature analysis, and meta-analysis are all vital.

                      Oy cunts. Help me pronombulate the nonbinary version of a "Trad Wife" / house spouse.
                      Coin the term! That was the phrase.
                      I do like house spoonie, too tbh.
