Italian MEP Nicola Procaccini of Brothers of Italy stated this at a press conference at the European Parliament in Brussels following the green light from the Eurochamber to the negotiation phase with the EU Council to define a new legal framework on the repatriation of citizens from third countries who are irregularly residing in the Union.
