        Super! Will she be making the designs available?

        What material are the claws made of?

        I crocheted a baby dragon last year. That was a lot of work, but it was my first project.

        @number6 @nygren The pattern is from amazing Megan Lapp of Crafty intentions. The body of the dragon (plus legs, wings, tail and head) are from this pattern https://shop.craftyintentions.com/b/KMHfv and the head and back ornamentation is from Megan's book CROCHET CREATURES OF MYTH & LEGEND https://craftyintentions.com/book1.

          @nygren @Ksushis This is absolutely brilliant!

          Quick question: what are the talons made of? They are stealing the show!

            @Ksushis @nygren

            Thank you for the information!

            I bought an over-supply of eyes (nobody sells just two) for my baby dragon.

            Hadn't even considered that there is a whole industry out there producing claws, for those times you might need one.

                  @number6 @nygren Yeah, I now have a lot more claws and eyes than I need :). The claws are really for leather jackets and the like, but they work for dragons and other creatures too. These are the claws btw https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00O8N9V78?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1

                    @Ksushis @nygren

                    Oh, so *that's* the target market.

                    A little too late I learned that a good place to get crochet accessories is AliExpress.

                    It's also not bad for yarn, if you want sport weight yarn from milk cotton. Thicker stuff, it stops being competitive.

                      Oh nifty! I've been eyeing her pieces on ravelry. May I ask what you think of the patterns, and how much of a time investment they are to make? (For you -- as a rare follower of patterns, I'd expect to double that and upgrade to the next larger time unit.)

                        @kelkyag @number6 @nygren the patterns are amazing. Some of the best. She’s also responsive on FB and there’s a great Discord community where I’ve gotten advise with the 1st dragon. As for time, it’s a LOT, I don’t really keep track but on and off it was 2 months of weekend work.
