@GossiTheDog I mean, it makes sense. If you were to anthropomorphise AI, education would be its biggest enemy.

@promovicz @GossiTheDog this only strengthens their reputation and "credibility" as a terror organization so big and powerful most of the world does not dare to call them what they are.

@GossiTheDog So the whole "Anthropic won't be used for targeting campaigns" line lasted less than a week?

@capeta @GossiTheDog I think this is technically true, but if I have an alternative view then I’ll take it. IMO the international conversation should be led back to a productive footing, by everyone involved.

@GossiTheDog Sorry, I lie. I re-read the Anthropic/DoD story... apparently they're more concerned with fully autonomous and mass domestic surveillance.

              ...

Does anyone remember the days when tech companies were actually concerned that their tech may be involved in killing people?

@GossiTheDog But as long as the machines do it, you can't blame people. (Or something.)

@Cyberoutsider @GossiTheDog I’m fairly sure Anthropic’s only objections were mass surveillance and fully autonomous weapons.

@GossiTheDog these really need alt-text so that no one misses this important message.
