@iFixit My most recent win is with a cheap battery-powered portable blender that got its micro-controller stuck in a weird state and wouldn't turn on anymore (and the battery would take ages to drain on its own).
I opened it (with my iFixit toolkit of course), disconnected and reconnected the battery, and it's as good as new again. Also took the opportunity to mod it (with my iFixit soldering iron ️) and install a USB-C port for charging, because no one deserves to use micro B in 2019+7.

@iFixit my favorite repair was hands down fixing the dishwasher that the previous owners has declared broken - it just needed a tiny spring replaced that opens the tab/soap box. fixing that felt great!

@iFixit fixing the washing machine. It wasn't pumping anymore because a single little cable got loose from the sensor measuring how much water is in the drum. Reconnected the cable and it continued working ever since.

@iFixit Rigid shop vac. Motor brushes burned up.

The motor was pressed together. I used a grinder to disassemble it. Replaced the brushes. Then created a way re fasten it (don't remember what I did exactly).

I taped half the repair, and realized it would make a poor video.

8 years of use after it burned up during the first year.

@iFixit keeping my dishwasher in repair turned out to be quite a journey (already had to replace the main pump, the door springs and the top drawe). Luckily it's actually repairable kinda well, including user-facing instructions, and I'd hate to rebuy just because some small piece breaks down.

@iFixit My favorite repair win was fixing the Xbox 360 red-ring-of-death - fresh thermal paste and some bolts to hold the cooler to the CPU (rather than the weird X bracket thing Microsoft used) and it worked fine for years

@iFixit My favorite repair win was my previous laptop. Several keys had stopped registering, and it started taking several minutes to switch between programs. I was able to improve the functionality a bit but not enough for daily use; however I was able to fold the keyboard all the way behind the screen, 3D print a wall-mount frame for everything, and I use it now as smart home dashboard.

@iFixit The fancy Dyson vacuum which I had to completely disassemble just to replace the broken power trigger. A quick 3D printed piece was enough the make it good as new.

@iFixit my favorite win is repairing my OnePlus 6T. I will not give up on it because it is my personal record of holding a phone and I have things to repair again (one thing I broke when I first repaired it, well done )
