so, a small explanation:
i contacted my visa coordinator today and a rug got pulled underneath me because it turned out that we needed 5500 eur on my bank account for the visa to even be considered eligible for approval, not 4000 like we planned. thanks, immigration law! fuck you!

i dumped all my savings into my account and now i only had 450 left missing. i asked yall for it
@mynameistillian That's just heartless. Have you also applied for humanitarian visas, you should be able to given you flee Kazakhstan.
Wish FUR/HELP could just apply straight away on your behalf, but Europe doesn't really care to give people barrier free access to those.
Honestly, I'm disgusted, even though I am myself a refugee thanks to a humanitarian visa.

@mynameistillian Not always, for you it'll be actually easier to get an org behind you. I already know of Kazakh people that scored humanitarian visas.

i guess i am glad i have saved all this money over the years, but yeah...now i don't have any tricks up my sleeve. if something fucks me up it's gonna be harder

@mynameistillian Not always, for you it'll be actually easier to get an org behind you. I already know of Kazakh people that scored humanitarian visas.
@mynameistillian One thing though to keep in mind, France is the worst choice humanitarian visa wise, unless you are ready to perfect your French and survive through discrimination quite literally, since you are also Kazakh.
I atleast don't look Kazakh so I don't get as much crap.
Maybe actually second to Germany, but it's still quite crap.

@mynameistillian this process needn't be so expensive. these costs are pointless, existing only to hurt potential immigrants amd make things harder for poor people
