Any #homebrewers have a counter pressure bottle filler as their go to?

I bought a used stainless steel one and thought it’d make the bottling easier last weekend…what a production! And still a mess! I’m sure the garage still smells like sour raspberry.

    1. I had to rig up a janky tee CO2 connection…I’m sure I was loosing C02…probably need something easier to connect via ball locks

    2. I think I had the CO2 pressure way too high (i realized after I cracked the keg it was probably a short or malfunctioning floating dip tube on foam, sealed and will deal with next weekend)…so purging the bottles was a rodeo hanging on

    3. the filler was heavy……and explains why I see everyone using DIY racks and stands….i was trying to use a tall glass pitcher with starsan to hold in between but was still tipping things over

Overall curious if anyone else has one dialled smoothly into packaging.

Packaging procrastination is my white whale!

@paulywill I don't have a counter pressure filler, but I do have a blichmann beer gun that has a way to 'purge' the bottle with CO2 before you fill. Works pretty well and looks less fiddly than the CPF

@paulywill I am using the one from craft hardware. A bit more pricy, but allows for a nice workflow with reduced mess. I had a similar one like the one in the picture before but never could it work reliable.
