Yesterday I had an initial appointment with a neurologist that I had been very hopeful about. This doctor apparently has life goals of being as horrible and as much an invalidating bully/thug as possible. He also freely opined about conditions not in his realm, and then recorded those incorrect opinions in my permanent record all without listening to me or addressing any of my agenda items.
On the positive side, I found another neurologist in another healthcare system where their bio reflects their kindness and desire for the long-term relationship. Fingers crossed that doctor is available for new patients when I call in a few hours!

I know I tried to put a positive spin on this in the original post. But the truth of the matter is that I experienced both physical and verbal abuse from this provider. I know it's possible for it to happen, but you never think it'll happen to you.
Now I need to decide if I'll file a complaint against this doctor, or just put it in my rearview mirror. Pretty sure I don't want to put negative vibes like a complaint into the universe.

@AncTreat5358 I suppose a complaint can help protect other people against his abuse, so it's not useless! but only if you have the spoons for it of course

@bazkie Good to know. That makes sense. I just might do that.
Thanks for your thoughts, Bazkie!

@AncTreat5358 Filing a complaint is NOT putting negative energy into the universe. It’s standing up for your rights.

@setmeravelles I hear you, Pablo. Thank you for that clarity.

Not having things put on record is how people like this thrive. So being able to give negative feedback somehow is a positive step, no matter if it doesn't really go anywhere. -

With everyone's kind thought-sharing, I agree filing a complaint is the right thing to do, and have done that. I'm not seeking a personal resolution, but it might help someone else.
