One step closer to moving my account to Ottawa Place, where i would have been if I knew about it when I joined Mastodon. Just waiting for the right time to do it uninterrupted without distraction. And of course there is always the possibility I will procrastinate or change my mind, but I am about 85% certain.

Done some more preparation and just about ready to create the new account, then migrate to it. The process looks pretty simple, lets hope it goes smoothly. Timeline depends on how the gods move me, but within a few days, possibly sooner.

I moved a couple of weeks ago. Painless. Followers and followed move with you but your posts don’t (they remain available on the old instance though). -

My account is registered at ottawa.place now. just waiting for acceptance from moderators to finish the setup and migration.
