    @robdaemon

    capitalist Thunderdome.

    i might be mildly interested at the particular outcome -- beyond that knowing the rest of us lose no matter what.

    burn it down.

            @robdaemon Hegseth seriously has a face that pleads for a steel bar/tooth collision. His eyesockets look like they'd welcome a hammer, too.

              "The move would require anyone doing business with the U.S. military to cut ties with the AI company."

              That's totally stupid. If it's not actually part of their supply chain for any military contract it's irrelevant. It's dumb just having to write this.

                @robdaemon TBH Anthropic is a good company. It's people who left OpenAI when they realized Sam Altman is a shyster and an asshat. They really do prioritize safety over race dynamics.

                  @Nymnympseudonymm yeah, of all the AI companies, it's the better one, but it's still a water and energy hogging thing we don't need

                    @robdaemon No, let them fight. Fuck them.

                    Hell, if Anthropic goes down, that might pop the bubble and take down the whole industry. This might be best case scenario, TBH.

                    When fascists move to eat each other, get popcorn. Don't get in the way.
