    I’m looking for some advice: What’s the best protocol to use for sharing files on a Linux box with Macs? (I’m thinking of using the Finder, rather than something like rsync)

    I’ve been told AFP is no longer well supported by Macs, but that SMB can also cause issues.

        @EdwinG Thanks. I keep reading about NFS being retired on Mac, which has made me skittish.
