Normally pallet deliveries are not all that helpful (just dump it somewhere on your property). But this dude was really helpful and let me move some bits out of the way inside my garage before wheeling it in there for me. What a dude.
Unusually for me, I emailed the supplier and named him and said what a helpful chap he had been.

@bloor chap then gets put on a PIP for wasting time in customer's garage instead of immediately going to the next delivery, as the management dashboard and thus the manager's bonus scheme tracks number of deliveries and time of delivery and not excess customer goodwill...

@jackeric to be fair I said I intended to report how helpful he'd been to the supplier and he told me his name, to make sure he got the credit. So I don't think there is a risk of that in this instance.
