#WritersCoffeeClub for May 1: Workers' Day: What can we do to support and protect other writers, not only now, but in the future as well?

There are so many amazing answers here, so I'll just add:

Instill the joy of reading in your kids. Model using the library. Model reading both physical books and ebooks instead of being on your phone. Read together, often. Try books that are new to both you and your kiddo. Give books as gifts. Write together.

A love of reading and books is a learned attribute, and it has to be taught.
