    Semantic markup stans when you tell them there are specific typographic situations that call for specifically italics, and not generalized "emphasis"

    (although really if you claim to actually be "semantic" then you should be actually providing markup for those situations, rather than just renaming the "italic" tag to "emphasis" and claiming you're now magically semantic)

      For instance, with titles, they should be set in italics/oblique. But then for titles within titles, *unlike normal emphasis* (where the inner emphasis goes back to upright Roman type), you should quote the inner title but leave it italicized. e.g. The Making of “Kill Bill”

        @nytpu semantic markup is when theres tags and the more tags there are the more semantics it is
