How does your *employee* not understand the feedback from his *boss* after the 2nd telling?

@katemorley please tell me there was no addition of "Sweetie . . ." because that has often been added in my experience, when anyone mansplains something to me.

        @katemorley good book 🩷

Sadly, I think you have to hit guys like that with it before they'll notice anything.

@alice @katemorley that book should only be available in hardcover. It would be more impactful.

But when I use translationstools, I prefer to keep an eye on them. They tend to talk nonsense sometimes.
That ist why I only use languages I know. (No spanish)

It’s the same old problem – these tools make me feel unsure.
It’s fine when I’m speaking, mind you. But when it comes to writing, I suddenly can’t remember how to spell things.
I learnt English and French at school, yes. I can manage a bit of Italian, but only when reading.
And I’ve only just noticed this language setting in the browser. I think that’s what they call selective perception.

Was sonst die Schule betrifft: 12 Jahre jeden Tag mind. Da bleibt immer was hängen.

@katemorley I don't know why I am still astonished at things like this...umm....he's your employee and still thinks....yeah. So exhausting.

I was once mansplained my own talk at a big event, moments after stepping off the stage.

There were a couple other speakers, and he somehow didn't recognize me as the person giving my talk. Even though I was the only speaker who was a woman.

He kept repeating my own talk to me. Even though I was there in the room, let alone having just given the talk.
