Strike on Russian shadow oil fleet near Novorossiysk
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has officially confirmed that two vessels belonging to Russia's so-called shadow oil fleet were struck in the waters at the entrance to the port of Novorossiysk, Krasnodar Krai. According to the head of state, the strike targeted ships used to transport petroleum products in circumvention of international sanctions. This operation is part of Ukraine's systematic efforts to degrade the military-economic potential of the aggressor. The Ukrainian leadership continues to emphasize the importance of disrupting Russia's logistical chains in the Black Sea region. As of now, no official response has been issued by the Russian Ministry of Defense.
