Why does nobody just list an email on their website. Email is far from perfect. But it doesn't suffer from the same problems as sites like Facebook and LinkedIn. For example, Facebook requires users to use their name, prohibiting pseudonymous accounts (in theory). Most people don't have LinkedIn or Instagram accounts.

Also, apparently LinkedIn doesn't allow DMs in the free version.
What kind of social media platform paywalls basic features?

Why on Earth does literally anyone use LinkedIn? Its a horrible UX.

I made an entire account to speak to one person as part of an investigation, and I can't because of Microsoft's greed. I guess I will just have to find another source.

@iampytest1 I think you get five direct messages a month. Unless that’s changed I’ve not sent a direct message to somebody I wasn’t connected with in sometime.
