It was written by Scot Kamins, the author of Apple's Hypercard book (which was excellent also, as was Hypercard).
It's still a great manual, succinct, and drily witty here and there. Almost no one's seen it, because it went out, print only, to folks who bought my shareware. (The code was free, but not the manual).

I still think that Hypercard had the potential to change the world. But it crashed and burned.

My thinking as a larval geek was greatly influenced by FidoNet (and radical-to-me idea that one could run FTNs). When I saw a tj show up in my feed I though "surely not THAT tom jennings..." Very pleased to have been wrong.
