Mass protests in Turkey: opposition leader breaks police barricade, marches on parliament
Turkey's main opposition CHP leader Özgür Özel led a march to parliament after protesters demolished a police barricade. Özel climbed onto a water cannon vehicle to address the crowd as police blocked İnönü Boulevard leading to the Turkish Grand National Assembly. Chants of 'Özgür President' were heard. -
