counting on linux and only linux has been a big mistake, as just one project can rugpull us (sloppull?) like linux just did
systemd is very practical to replace and there are many good alternatives. linux, however? not nearly as true -

@mrmasterkeyboard @lumi been there. done that. learned that I hate x86_64 uefi magic. maybe I'll retry when completed university courses about that. But I dislike "yeah just use framebuffer from extern magical bootloader"
