    #FreeBSD on mobile when? Would be much much better than whatever the fuck #Android / #AOSP / #Google are doing right now. I think we need to start working on this.

        @stilic not even lying, I'm wanting to whip out my Pixel 3a and see if it's even possible to get FreeBSD just barely executing on the Pixel 3a.

            @mrmasterkeyboard we desperately need more diversity in kernels

            counting on linux and only linux has been a big mistake, as just one project can rugpull us (sloppull?) like linux just did

            systemd is very practical to replace and there are many good alternatives. linux, however? not nearly as true

                  @mrmasterkeyboard @lumi been there. done that. learned that I hate x86_64 uefi magic. maybe I'll retry when completed university courses about that. But I dislike "yeah just use framebuffer from extern magical bootloader"
