Today I learned that, on the Apple Watch, if you have a notification to dismiss, you can swipe down instead of up, thus avoiding the “red dot of death” that requires reviewing and dismissing your dismissed notifications again to get rid of the dot. Hurray, no need to dwell with all your mental capacity that the dot is there, needing attention.
