    The first person to discover a link between increased levels of CO2 and #globalwarming was a New Yorker named Eunice Newton Foote. Read her 1856 paper, and how she went unacknowledged for more than a century, here: https://publicdomainreview.org/collection/first-paper-to-link-co2-and-global-warming-by-eunice-foote-1856 #earthday #climatechange

        @publicdomainrev

        When the fossil fuel industry decides to bury a career, there are no half measures.

        And they're still promoting planet-frying policies. AI "disruption" is really deliberate energy wasting policy.

        And for the same reasons; international corporate rule.

          @Npars01 If the buggy whip industry was as powerful, they’d have tarred and feathered Henry Ford and run him out of town, never to be seen again. Kind of what GM, big oil diesel suppliers and Firestone did to the electric interurban rail system in the US to promote their busses.
