Someone should tell #Alberta separatists that it won't happen, and our news media like #CTV as well, with it's unwarranted daily media coverage.
It will not happen. The referendum, if it even happens, will fail. And this mentions changing the constitution...7/10 provinces would have to agree to it, and I believe a national 66% (or 60%) referendum victory is also required.

@MikeImBack Those who are advocating for separation are feeding the public lies about what is possible, and what Canada would still provide to them. The financial burden it would place on Albertans would be enormous, and the again, the possibility in the first place is legally very gray and remote considering the treaties.
