I still have my "Deathwatch" T-shirt (for those working over the 1999-2000 transition)[1]. Fortunately the only thing I had to fix was a housekeeping job that got generated with a dataset name including Y19100001.T... due to a missed script. 3:O)>

@Cadbury_Moose @noelreports I luckily worked for a well-prepared aerospace research institute in that time and simply had to restart a single service that we just couldn't fix in advance early enough in the morning before an engineer noticed something.
but the months before Y2K were quite busy. -
