I used to do a 45-minute talk with lots of swearing about why infosec professionals are so bad at giving digital security/privacy advice and digital security training.

I used to do a 45-minute talk with lots of swearing about why infosec professionals are so bad at giving digital security/privacy advice and digital security training. My patience for bullshit has shrunk so much since then that it can only be detected by specialized scientific instruments.
@evacide They are comically easy to prove wrong

When looking for appropriate effective advice, I can't seem to find it. Balance is off between efficacy and straightforwardness. Making advice too technical or pretty general.Keen for good resources that have been distilled for general audiences. It's a sea of sludge out there.
